How should we dress?

As it is often a few degrees cooler in Val-David that in regions of Quebec located more to the south, we recommend that you bring a jacket or sweater that you can put on or remove as needed.

If you need more information, do not hesitate to use the “Write to us” form below. Also, you can contact us at any time by emailing us at info@noel.qc.ca or by calling us at 819 322-2146 (1 800 287-6635) ext. 708.

What if the weather forecast predicts rain?

Please note that a day at the Village can be just as successful on a sunny day or when it’s cloudy. In the event of a downpour, visitors can find cover under the shelters provided to this end, giving you time to rest a little before you get back to the fun once the rain is over.

If the weather forecast predicts uninterrupted rain, the Village will close its doors for the day, a situation which only occurs once or twice a season.

If in doubt, we recommend that you visit the Village’s website before you leave. Keep in mind that even the most beautiful sunny day needs a little rain to make a rainbow.

Could we bring our own lunch or cooler?

It’s up to you!

Of course, you can carry your lunch with you and enjoy it peacefully on one of the many picnic tables scattered throughout the Village site.

If you have a cooler, you can leave it in your car and pick it up at lunchtime. To make your experience more enjoyable, we recommend that you bring a tablecloth.

Feel like forgetting your apron for one day? Don’t hesitate to turn to our snack-bar. Our menu combines a variety of popular snacks and traditional healthy options. The selection includes panini sandwiches, children’s veggie pizza, Christmas ‘poutine’ and several other original dishes.

What measures are being taken in relation to COVID-19?

As you can imagine, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Elves to work very hard to adapt the Village’s activities to comply with the regulations on physical distancing and health measures issued by the Government of Quebec’s public health department.

We invite you to visit the “COVID-19” page which addresses this particular aspect.

You will certainly appreciate that we take this situation very seriously. In this regard, since we started our season, we have found that everything has gone really well on the distancing and health measures front. People have had a lot of fun… safely!

Are there packages, group prices or season passes?

This year there can be no packages, group prices or season passes because of the COVID-19 situation.

The reason is that we have to make sure that the number of people on the VIllage site at the same time does not exceed a certain limit. This additional control obliges us for the moment to ask you to make your transaction through a ticketing system.

Go to the “Entry Fee” page to book your tickets. We look forward to having fun with you and your little ones!

Do we have to book in advance?

This year it is necessary to make reservations as we have to make sure that the number of people on the VIllage site at the same time does not exceed a certain limit.

You can reserve now to ensure a place, or on the day itself, as you prefer.

To proceed, simply go to the “Entry Fee” page. We look forward to having fun with you and your little ones!

Are teenagers welcome?

Of course they are!

Although the Village is mainly aimed at toddlers aged 2 to 8, some teens can also benefit from it. These are, for example, those who enjoy having fun with their little brother or sister. They can accompany them throughout the day. They will have just as much fun as they do in the zip line, climbing wall, etc. These activities are for all ages!

Then take your teenagers with you, they’ll come back delighted!

Are you offering pony rides this year?

Offering pony rides would not be consistent with public health guidelines.

Toddlers will be able to observe the animals from a safe distance, but they will not be able to touch or flatter them because of the health and distancing measures that must be in effect.

Do we have to wear a face cover?

The homemade face cover or handcrafted mask (covering the nose and mouth) is mandatory for people aged 12 and over in all enclosed or partially covered public places, as well as when it does not seem assured to be able to maintain a distance of two meters.

Obviously, no one likes to wear a mask… but we have chosen to strictly adhere to public health guidelines.

But since we started our season, we’ve fortunately realized that everything is going really well in this regard. It’s even unanimous: we can both respect the health measures and have fun at the same time… safely!

If it rains, are our tickets refunded?

We recommend that you book now for the day of your choice and then wait until the last minute to cancel if the weather is not clement enough. This is because the number of people on the Village site at the same time cannot exceed a certain limit.

The same day before 8:00 a.m., you can cancel and get a 100% refund, or you can choose another day and keep 100% of the value of your tickets (a lot easier, quicker and… much more fun!).

After 8:00 a.m. you can still cancel, but you will then be refunded 80%. Why 8:00 a.m.? Because that’s the time we adjust the number of Elves to the number of visitors who have booked.

How do you do it? To change the date or cancel your reservation, simply reply to the “Confirmation Email” that you received by email when you placed your order and give us your instructions, and you are done! Before 8:00 am = 100% refund / from 8:00 am = 80%.

Of course, if it is the Village that cancels, you will be entitled to a full refund or choose another date for your visit, at your convenience.
